Renowned BBC presenter Mishal Husain will be sharing insights from her timely new book, “The
Skills: From First Job to Dream Job – What Every Woman Needs to Know”, at a joint PAWA-Asia
House event during the Asia House Bagri Foundation Literature Festival, 2018.
Mishal has been a PAWA supporter since we first launched almost ten years ago. She chaired an early PAWA Word event and is also the narrator on our PAWA Film.
Mishal Husain has been a presenter on Newsnight and was among the on air hosts on the BBC covering the 2012 Olympics. She has reported on the ground from around the world during history-making world events including the Cairo revolution.
She has also made documentaries and been a judge for the Orange Prize for New Writers. Prince Harry and Megan Markle handpicked Mishal to conduct their first joint TV interview. According to The Times, Mishal is one of the five most influential Muslim women in the UK.
