Gather For Girls: Fundraising for International Day of the Girl

Join PAWA in our most ambitious fundraising campaign yet as we come together during October to commemorate the International Day of the Girl. This is more than a fundraiser; it’s a movement to change lives.

Why Gather?

To have fun, yes, but also to empower. Every gathering, every pound raised, pushes forward our mission to keep 2500+ bright young girls in school, warding off the threats of early marriage, child labour, and other injustices they face. Our target is £20,000. With your help, we can get there.

How To Be The Change:

1. Gather Inspiration: Whether it’s a casual coffee morning or a grand dinner party, think of a gathering or challenge to organize.
   • Host a tea party, lunch, or dinner.
   • Commit to a sponsored challenge.
   • Rally your school to participate, involving both parents and students.
   • Embrace tranquillity with a yogathon.
     

     

     

     

     

1. Share Your Plan: Email us at bookings@pawa-london.org. We’re here to amplify your effort through our social media or guide you if you need advice.
2. Celebrate in October: This is your moment to shine, to make a difference. Gather and enjoy!
3. Fuel The Movement: Request donations from your participants. You can collect on their behalf or have them contribute individually.
   • Double Your Impact: From 11th to 18th October, THE BIG GIVE will match the first £2500 we raise! So, if we raise £2,500 donations, it turns into £5,000!
   • For substantial donations of £500 or more, use BACS.
   • For contributions outside the above dates, simply visit Donate Now – PAWA.
4. Spread The Word: Share your efforts online using #GatherForGirls and tag @PAWALondon. Your unique idea can inspire countless others.

Short on Time?

Can’t host an event? No worries! Your direct donation can still make waves of change. Remember, each £30 supports a girl’s education for an entire year.
