KARUNA TRUST Nirman NT DT project – Pune, INDIA (124 girls)
In 2023 we started funding a secondary project with Karuna Trust, working with vulnerable girls from the marginalised communities of Nomadic and Denotified Tribes in Pune, Maharashtra. As with our primary project, Karuna is working with a local partner (Nirman) and the programme will work in a holistic way with the whole community. We will be supporting continued education and the avoidance of early marriage for 124 teenage girls within the project.
